Entropy

I noticed while in Hawaii, ice water melts much faster at sea level, even if the temperature is the same as Colorado.

These are my Conjectures

  1. Temperature equalizes faster in Hawaii

    • Entropy is stronger at sea level.

    • I assume that is because the air is denser.

    • The more tightly packed the atoms, the more opportunity for transfer energy and reach equilibrium.

    • Which means the closer things are together the more they are affected by entropy.

  2. Society and Physics often share rules.

    • Entropy is like Communism. The energy and resources should be shared evenly by all.

    • When people are packed tightly together, they reach an equilibrium with those around them.

    • Pick your friends wisely, the people you are in contact with are transferring energy with you.

    • Your friends are either heating you up or cooling you down.

  3. Where does the energy to be entropized come from?

    • Gravity brings things together, and organizes those things.

    • Gravity and entropy are positively correlated, and compete for dominance.

    • Spending time in seclusion can allow you to propagate your own energy and creativity, to be shared.
