Lost Jobs

Many are concerned about the jobs that are being lost due to AI.

But I am pretty excited for all the positions that will become more efficient.

Imagine being a tradesman that is now able to receive the work order request directly from the customer, through the AI, to my que. I can work with the AI to get exactly the parts I need, without trying to translate to a purchaser that doesn’t understand. Accounting and paper work is all compiled and organized by the AI. My evaluation is done by the AI or the customer. No need for supervision, management, or assistant, associate, or departmental directors.

All of those positions not only make the work take longer, they also make the job more difficult by adding complexity and bureaucracy.

Eventually, whatever work these people find with the assistance of AI will add value to society, instead of vampirically sucking profits as overhead.
