You know how people get runner’s high. It is pretty much that your body is encouraging you with endorphins for doing something difficult and painful.

Well most things in nature that die don’t go quietly in their sleep or of old age. They are torn apart and eaten while they are still alive.

With that much pain and fear, imagine the adrenaline dump and ecstasy that you experience.

Maybe that dump of natural drugs act as the boatman carrying us across the River Styx to Valhalla
