Socialism

Socialism seems to gain steam through blaming the wealthy for the inequality and struggles of the poor.

The problem with this belief structure is that it allows those that identify as under-privileged to be entitled.

They feel entitled to handouts to make things equitable.

They feel justified in taking from those that have more than them because the system is rigged.

They lose motivation to change their situation due to the unfairness of it all.

I support helping the under-privileged, but I prefer to help them by empowering them to better their situation.
