The number one skill in societal success is storytelling (marketing and branding)

The things you choose to do is important for you, but if no one else knows what you have done it is unknown.

Storytelling is not only beneficial for yourself. If you can weave a story about the awesome endeavors of your friends, you can help them find amazing successes. Some of the most successful people have become success because they have friends that will proclaim their victories. Or you could make in into a career and have other pay you to manipulate their image.

Getting good at storytelling is also valuable because it allows you to dictate what the narrative is. If you don’t tell other a story to talk about, they may remember you as the one time you farted in class, or pissed your pants.
